Three weekends ago after building a greenhouse I started my small, yet fantastic, veggie haven and I am amazed at how quick those plats are growing.

I often feel that we are so use to buying any produce at any given time and we forget that fruits and vegetables grow in seasons, and that not all fresh produce was meant to be eaten all the time.

We want it all and all the time, we import and export and insist on having whatever we want whenever we want it, causing climate change, the extinguishing of species and the lost of land and resources by doing so.

I hope that maybe by growing a portion of my produce at home I will eat better and at the same time reduce (even if only in a fraction) my use of non renewable resources.

Below are the “babies”….   Man, I just can’t wait for the harvest!!!
